I asked this lady in the hot foods for assistance.

She did not clean her hands or put on gloves.

I asked her if she can pls wear gloves since she’s directly handling the hot foods (my food).

She refused and proceeds to tell me “she’s working”. She even got loud with me about it.

I let the manager know. Not sure when he talked to her because when I passed back by she was helping other customers with no gloves.

Sanitation does not appear to be regulated here or prioritized. I left grossed out.

I literally had to pick my chin up off the floor when I walked into this place!!! This has to be the nicest Publix I have ever been in!! They have a large salad and olive bar!! I love a great salad!!! I will say the price of $8.99 per lb. is a little high. I'm that girl who eats all the veggies and misc items on her salad. Adds up quickly. It's definitely better than paying $15 for an unhealthy fast food meal!
I did not get a chance to walk the entire store, I probably would have lost my mind in the produce section!!!! I will definitely come back when I have more time!

Normally I don't post reviews but the problems seem to be getting worse. I shopped the Westchase store on Tuesday afternoon. The number of shelf items that were empty was ridiculous. Mostly sale items. This has always been a problem at Publix. Othe stores have the same issue. Many empty shelves with little help stocking them. Try finding anything on Monday morning. The aisles are full of vendors, no employees. Before Covid they would stock shelves at night and on weekends. Not any more. I complain to a manager when I can find them but only receive lip service. I've told the cashier you can't sell it if you don't stock it. I've been a long time Publix customer who has put up with the high prices and poor service. It's time to change.

I was here at the deli last week, a lady with a strong caribbean accent worked my order and was very rude to me. My 2 online ordered subs were not done right, plus she was very very slow and had a horrible attitude!

As a newcomer to town, I’ve been impressed with my experience at this Publix. All the employees are friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The sub station is a particular highlight—the sandwiches are delicious!

I love this Publix for its great atmosphere, excellent deals, convenient location, and outstanding service. However, I did notice that they don't carry propane for BBQ grills. It would be great if they could offer this in the future.

Overall, this Publix has quickly become a favorite spot for me, and I look forward to continuing my shopping here.

We stoped by to purchase sandwiches for dinner. And ended up with 90.00 worth of groceries that looked so good! From the deli. Meats and bakery. Every thing Publix has looks delish!

Like any Publix, customer service is great. But it's small size and resulting lack of inventory means you are lucky to find more than 2 brand options for most items, and sometimes you are stuck with just one. Overall, it's fine in a pinch, or if you are not very discerning in your
brand preferences. But if selection is important to you, consider going elsewhere.

Publix: where shopping sucks.

I've had enough of this damn store. I've been tolerating their decline for years, trying to overlook it, but I've had it. Today was the last straw: I need to change a few different bills into $10s. An easy request, but the checkout lady said she wasn't allowed and I would have to go to the front desk. This has also happened MULTIPLE times that they ring something up wrong, but I've already paid with my credit card. Why should I have to take extra time out of my day to fix your screw up?

Then there is the fraud being perpetuated in the meat department. Multiple times I have bought clearly marked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, only to get home to find out that the bone is still in them. Multiple times. I'm paying a premium for something I am not getting.

Let's talk about the bagging. I almost never get asked if I want plastic. When they do, they typically ignore my request for paper. Sometimes they will just keep bagging (usually because the bagger does not speak English), or they will say we are out (and there is paper in the check out next to them. They never ask to help me out to the car, and often times I am the one who has to bag my own groceries. If I wanted to be treated like a common pig and bag my own stuff, I'd go to Walmart. We are paying a premium, and I expect far better customer service.

As others have mentioned, certain items (like hot lunch sandwiches, or rotisserie chicken) are NEVER available at the proper times. 10am? Yup. 12pm, or 5pm - No. Most of the time I can't find what I want, because they no longer carry it. It drives me insane.

Their bakery used to have new and interesting items. Now it's all the same garbage. Their caterers are unprofessional as well. Two birthday cakes were misspelled, and of course they blamed it on us (when the writing on the ticket was not in my handwriting).

When you boil it all down, it's poor management and poor customer service. What Publix needs is COMPETITION.

The really sad part is this is not even the worst Publix I've been to. Some are even worse...
