I visited today to establish care and have my first cleaning and exam. Despite some initial issues with my insurance (entirely my insurance’s fault), the receptionist was incredibly patient and helpful in resolving everything for me. Dr. Alexa and her assistant, Sylvia, were professional, efficient, and made the entire process seamless. The cleaning and exam were thorough, and I could tell they approached every step with great care. Despite everything going on, I never felt rushed and was completely comfortable throughout my visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, definitely would recommend Dr. Alexa!

Dr. Alexa is a caring dentist. She explains what is going on. I was seen the same day. Although I have ongoing issues with my teeth, I feel comfortable with Dr Alexa to get it done. Receptionist all ready had my insurance before I got there. Overall great place. Thank you

Initially I didn’t know what to expect as I’ve been to the same office for years, but Dr. Alexa and her team made it a seamless transition to receive the treatment I needed. My cleaning process was handled professionally and thoroughly. Very glad it was them to make me feel that all my needs were met, only good remarks.

I have been to a number of appointments here. As of recently I went through oral surgery of getting all of my wisdom teeth removed. After my surgery I was advised to reach out to my dentist if there were any problems. I reached out to Dr. Alexa numerous times because of the severe pain I was in and I was not listened to. I was told I was in so much pain because i had “difficult teeth” whatever that’s supposed to mean. I communicated multiple times a day because I could not deal with the pain, couldn’t rest, hard to eat. I was in pain for weeks and given ibuprofen as well as a different pain medication that didn’t help me. When I asked for something different because the pain medication wasn’t working,I was rejected and had to continue begging for something to help me. Still didn’t get anything to help. I was discriminated against and treated like an addict even though I’ve never abused anything in my life. I was completely crushed because at first I did like this place. Nobody should feel the way I felt. I was in pain for not 1 not 2 not 3 but nearly 4 weeks. What I went through was not professional and I will unfortunately be reaching out to the medical board. This was all after surgery! Not some little checkup or cleaning. Will no longer continue service here.

Just got a root canal done, they walked me through the price and everything they were doing, numbed my mouth so well I didn’t feel any of it the whole time. Dr Alexa was wonderful. My fear of the dentist was eased. I recommend to everyone to go see them!

I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd. After many failed attempts to find a dentist who was willing to work around my other health issues when doing dental work, I found Dr. Shepherd. In addition to his superior workmanship, he is very kind and understanding. I hope he will be my forever dentist.
