I'm not a huge reviewer type person, but the customer service my daughter and I received yesterday was phenomenal! I brought her out to Hollywood for a Mommy/Daughter date and this store was one of our highlights. She loves leather bracelets and we peeked through the windows and saw some of the coolest items! The shop was closed, but the leatherworker saw us and came and opened the doors. He was very kind and patient with my indecisive teenager. He went above and beyond snapping each bracelet on her wrist while I had fun looking at the custom made hybrid hi-tops, hats, and jackets.

She finally chose a bracelet; he was kind and and let her keep another she had her eye on that didn't fit. So, he even resized it for her!!! He saw me watching in awe at him using his tools and invited us over to watch. He asked her if she wanted to studs flattened and then hammered them down. "Now wanna see something cooler?" "YES!" Then he poked holes into the top of each stud. He seriously made our freaking day!!!

You can buy cookie cutter cheap leather bracelets anywhere, we even saw some 2 shops down. But, LA Riga has high-quality real leather goods for reasonable prices. However, it was the epic interaction we had with the leatherworker that will keep us coming back. So worth the drive! I'm only kicking myself now that I didn't write his name down?‍♀️

Such a nice dude too and very pleasant to do business with.

My favorite belt got a rip in the leather, it was almost ripped completely in half.
It's a studded belt that was several hundred dollars when I purchased it new.
I could have purchased a new one but it wasn't about that..
I wanted this belt repaired as it's perfectly broken in and I've been wearing it for a dozen years, it is the my favorite belt I've ever worn, and I wore it out!

Dude charged a very minimal repair cost and had it fixed in 20 minutes, while I waited - he couldn't have done a better job!
It should for sure last for at least another dozen years.
I am 1000% satisfied -

He also makes incredible hats, belts, leather jackets, leather bracelets, wallets, etc. all displayed in his shop ready for purchase, not to mention the custom work you can commission him to do - amazing work!

I wandered into this shop after eating brunch next door because they had really cool stuff in the window. The guy working there clearly took much pride in his work and the shop it's self. He was never pushy (I hate pushy), but was right there to explain the pieces he had, how they could be modified, and what could be made if there was something I liked but wanted it different.

He had everything from simple bracelets to wicked cool leather jackets, abstract hats, clothing. He showed us a leather dress he made for a woman for burning man that was super cool.

I defiantly considered this shop to be a special find.
