Messed up my taxes. Tried to get a fee waived due to them messing up my taxes and they sent an entirely incorrect letter. Still trying to undo this 9 months later. Thanks for putting a downer on Christmas.

Agents are nice, and I understand they need to make a living, but not explaining or informing a 1st time (teen) filer of their option to file or not file was disappointing. Agent should have explained that it would cost the teen more in H&R Block fees than she'd get in return.. This made it seem agent was just looking to make her fee instead of what's best for client..

Dropped down to one star from two stars. Writing this review and calling headquarters finally got the Cortez office to give us a call and try and fix things last year. When we talked to someone from the Cortez office she had no intention of taking any accountability.
Doing taxes this year, we are noticing that they didn’t even file the things that they needed to and did an even worse job than the initial issue we had. We have spent so much time trying to fix what they did. Waste of money and time.

Really struggling with H&R Block, we finally decided to use them over TurboTax so we could have that in person touch. So far it is more work and stress.

With the issue we are having (that was not our fault but rather their filing fault) they have not helped us make any calls or done any legwork on their end to fix it. Don’t know why we paid them so much to do our taxes, they keep skirting around their mistake and putting the work on us when we paid them to take care of this.

We will try and call today again and hopefully get what they plan on doing to correct the situation, this has gone on way too long with zero accountability on their end. Owner is welcome to reach out at any time if they are unaware of this feedback and difficulties we have been experiencing.
