I order a manifold assembly for my water heater on Amazon Prime. The next day I found out I really didn't need so I attempted to cancel the order. Home Essential Depot refused to stop deliver and 3 day's later it came UPS. Normally I'm able to return anything purchased through Amazon Prime but Home Essential Depot requires us to pay shipping and insurance. This place is really a rip-off. Amazon is resolving my problem. I will never use Home Essential Depot again.

I ordered a faucet from this site the middle of this month. It got shipped fairly quick. I received it, opened it up ready to install it only to find it was not what I ordered. I called customer service and explained the problem. They understood completely, said they were sorry I had this experience. They reviewed what I ordered and said it would be shipped out today as we spoke. (Yeah, right) Much to my surprise I received the faucet I originally order the next day. To say the least I was pleasantly surprised at the response I received. Oh, and yes, it was the correct faucet this time. Thanks Home Essentials Depot. I will certainly do business with you again.

Horrible. I ordered 2 Toto drain assemblies on June 21. There was no 2 day shipping for sure. I have emailed them twice for a date I would receive them. Both times I was told about 2 weeks. Today I just got an email saying my order has been cancelled. I have had a handyman just waiting for my call to come install them. The think this company is a fraud.

No stars would be more appropriate. Ordered replacement toilet tank. It took 10 days to receive the tank. Wrong tank sent to us. Part number not even close. It then took 6 days to have them instruct us on shipping return. We had to send the tank back to a company called Zappysales, not Home Essentials Depot. Look up ZappySales!! The shipping cost to return was almost $95.00. I sent shipping receipts for reimbursement. Why should I have to pay to return their mistake? They offered store credit. Why would I order anything from them at this point. I have been emailing and calling daily for our reimbursement and absolutely no response. Really bad deal. I will be contacting the BBB in Chicago for what ever that will be worth.

We ordered a screened door from this seller. The tracking information stated it was delivered to an address about 100 miles from where we live. We notified the seller and got a new delivery date. On the day we expected delivery the door never arrived- the driver put “attempted delivery” in the tracking comments- a blatant lie- I was home all day. Then, when the door was finally delivered it was poorly packaged and damaged. The seller filed an insurance claim which they claim was denied since we didn’t require a signature upon delivered. Can you believe they are refusing to give us a refund for their damaged product? Do NOT trust this seller.

I wish I could give this company a negative 5 as this company stole money from me. My card information got stolen and was used to make a purchase with them and a other company. I contacted the other company and they were very helpful and had steps to make sure purchases like that don’t happen and help me dispute the charge. This company on the other hand (Home Essentials Depot) was the least helpful customer service I’ve ever experienced. The lady couldn’t speak English very well when I called to get information on the order and cancel it so the POS didn’t get what they ordered with my money. I stayed on the phone but from the start I could tell they already weren’t going to help me. She told me she’d send me a email to talk with someone who works on things like this. The email was no help. They wanted a order number for a order I didn’t make. I explain my situation again and never heard back. Don’t do business with this company, I’ve read the normal purchase reviews and they are mostly bad. I’d do business else where.

this company is literally the worst i had deal with in the 14 years on the remodeling business. ordered 3 doors from them on amazon, they send the wrong doors, wrong style and wrong size. i am still waiting after a month for them to come pick them up and give me my refund as they told amazon they would do.. i decided to give them another chance and ordered another set of the doors i needed straight from their website and when the driver came to deliver them he had the wrong doors again so i did not accepted the delivery.. and i have not seen that money either. i had called over 20 times, left 9 messages over the last month for someone to call me back.. send multiple emails.. now they are contesting the paypal transaction with a fake tracking number.. the most dishonest business i had dealt with.. PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY... THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS..
